Summertime is such a great time for our pets. The weather picks up (especially for our wee country) and it's a great excuse for more walks, more adventures and lots of fun times with our wonderful companions. Sadly, sometimes our summers can become a bit intense and it doesn't take a lot for it to become a danger for our four and two legged friends. Heat stroke can occur from as little as 18'C and therefore it's incredibly important you take the best care when the mercury starts to rise. We'd love to hear about the different things you do to keep your pet cool on a hot day. Try out our poll below to see what the most common answer is. If you have other hints/tips, please do share them with us using the comments at the bottom of the page.
What is your best source of relief for your pets on a hot summers day?
Paddling pool fun / Sprinkler or water-based toys
Homemade frozen wet towel / Cooling gel pad
A cold refreshing drink
Freezeable toys / treats
Don't forget our upcoming Crosskennan Charity Dinner Dance this November to celebrate 25 years of saving lives. Celebrating the people who have helped and the animals they have saved!
