Urgent Appeal: Help Us Secure Veterinary Care for Our Precious Animals!

As you know, proper veterinary care is essential for the health and well-being of our beloved animals. It ensures that they receive the medical attention they need, allowing them to lead happy, healthy lives.

Unfortunately, the cost of providing this level of care can be daunting, and we are currently facing a significant challenge in covering the veterinary bills for some of our most vulnerable residents.

Lucas, the Ex-Racehorse:

Lucas, a very familiar face for many, recently has been going through a lot of changes that come from both age and the leftover marks of his life before rescue. We are determined to give him the best life possible and that means we need to keep on top his care, including diet, turnout and his veterinary needs. He's had blood tests to assess his health and identify any underlying issues that could be causing current problems. These tests are crucial for creating a tailored care plan that will address his specific needs. We want nothing more than to see Lucas thrive in a safe and loving environment, but we need financial support to provide him with the necessary medical attention.

Kittens and Mother Cats:

Our sanctuary is also home to numerous kittens and mother cats at the moment, with more calls daily. All are in need of vaccinations at the base level, with many requiring further check ups and vet treatments. For the mothers this will be their last litters with spaying part of their care plan, allowing them to move on to a new home without the risks of falling pregnant again and bringing more unwanted kittens into the world. These vulnerable felines deserve the chance to grow up healthy and happy, free from the dangers of preventable diseases and overpopulation. Your contribution will directly impact the well-being of these young lives, giving them a brighter future.

Everyday Routine:

Routine care, such as worming, flea treatments, blood tests, medications, and even dental check-ups, is essential to ensure our animals remain healthy and comfortable. Many of our residents have come from challenging backgrounds and require extra care to recover fully. Your generosity will allow us to address their individual needs and provide them with the care they deserve.

Join Our Fight for Their Well-being:

We are reaching out to you, our community of compassionate animal lovers, in the hope that you will stand with us during this critical time. Your donation, no matter how big or small, will have a profound impact on the lives of these innocent creatures. Every penny will go towards providing the veterinary care they need to live happy and fulfilling lives.

At present we have multiple vets we use, the main four having £600, £1200, £1500, and £2200 on this months invoice. Now for a couple of these they are accumulative, for May/June/July, but no matter what the time period it's another bill to pay. It's important for us to keep on top of our vet bills as our relationships with our vets are essential, we rely on them at all times of the day/night, we look to them not just for care but advice.

Help us provide Veterinary Care for Our Animals:

  • Donate: Consider making a one-time or monthly donation towards our veterinary care fund. Your contribution will directly support the medical needs of our rescued animals.

  • Share: Help us spread the word by sharing this appeal with your family, friends, and social media networks. The more people we reach, the greater the impact we can make together.

Your Support Saves Lives:

By offering your support, you become a lifeline for these animals in need, providing them with the chance to experience love, care, and happiness they may have never known before. Together, we can make a difference and continue our mission to be a sanctuary of hope for these innocent beings.

On behalf of the animals at Crosskennan Lane Animal Sanctuary, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support. With your help, we can continue providing the vital veterinary care they deserve and create a brighter future for every resident under our care.
